Anyone who's read my blog knows, I'm big on information. For most people, the more information you have about your health and how to take care of yourself, the better. This is especially true for colon cancer.

When seeking out information about colon cancer, it's important to make sure it comes from a reputable source. It's certainly a wonderful thing when good quality information is available free! With this in mind, I wanted to share details on some upcoming, free, colon cancer and general cancer informational sessions.

These sessions are provided as teleconferences and webinars (participate through a website). You don't need to travel to a specific location to take advantage of them:

Emerging Treatments for Colorectal Cancer: What's New?

Cancer Survivorship Series: Living With, Through, and Beyond Cancer

You can attend any or all of the following sessions in the series, which is presented by CancerCare:

Trouble Sleeping? Sleep Better to Feel Better: Tips You can Use

Communicating with Your Health Care Team After Treatment: Making the Most of Your Visit

Survivorship and Workplace Transitions

Survivors Too: Communications With and Among Family, Friends, and Loved Ones
