Why Seek a Cancer Support Group Online?

Even though most cancer care centers have excellent cancer support groups, some people prefer an online cancer support group. For some, the format of a large group of people, most of whom are strangers, can be overwhelming.

In these cases, an online cancer support group or "cancer buddy" might be a good option. The following list is not intended to be comprehensive. It is designed to provide a starting point for people who are interested in online support options.
