If we're lucky, the challenges we face teach us lessons we can pass on to others who are experiencing a similar situation. Sometimes the lessons are broad, like explaining how you came to terms with your own diagnosis or the diagnosis of a loved one. And sometimes the lessons are specific, like sharing tips for coping with cold sensitivity caused by chemo or what to eat after colon surgery. Either way, the lessons are valuable. What may seem obvious to you now may be a tip that makes someone else's life a little easier. If you have a tip to share, please do so using the Submit a Tip form. All tips will be considered for inclusion in articles designed to help site visitors cope with colon cancer and related conditions, such as genetic syndromes that increase colon cancer risk. Thanks for sharing your life lessons with people who are searching for help! Updated: February 2, 2008 Suggested Reading |
