Definition:

Leucovorin is a vitamin complex used to treat advanced colon cancer. By itself, leucovorin isn't able to fight cancer at all. Rather, it helps patients by increasing the effectiveness of another drug, fluorouracil. Leucovorin is sold under the brand name Wellcovorin.
